Snapdragon

Antirrhinums or as commonly known Snapdragons are described as tender perennials. They are usually grown as annuals and I have indeed grown some from seed this year. They are still tiny plants but I have quite a few snapdragons that have survived the winter frosts and are now blooming vigorously. There is one by our door that is looking stunning at the moment.

The ones in the back garden include this fabulous red.

The bees are equally keen on them.

Bottoms up!

  1. Lovely. And how funny - Dad commented only yesterday how several of his had survived the winter!

  2. One of my favorite flowers, but I've never had one come back after the winter.

  4. The colour of the snapdragon next to your door is amazing and clearly it is popular with the bees!
