Girls Get Together

A group of us who were students together try to meet up once a year for a girls reunion. This year we met at in Bedfordshire at the house of one of the girls. There was much chatting, laughing, reminiscing, drinking of Prosecco (was probably Lamrusco at the best in our student days) and eating. How lucky we were with the weather to be able to eat Alfresco!


As you can see there were a couple of husbands who were relegated to the BBQ for most of the night!


We also had plenty of time to admire my friend's beautiful garden.







And visit their Art Barn where they hold a variety of art workshops.


And admire the inspirational view from the Art Barn window.


Breakfast and time to say goodbye came only too quickly.


It will be another year before our next get together.

    It sounds like you've had a lovely reunion. Glad that the weather was good and that you could enjoy your friend's garden - it's beautiful.

    Nice that you keep contact with your girlfriends from student days. Those cherries are very tempting looking, which are just coming into season here.
